Palo Alto Networks to acquire Protect AI
The US-based AI security firm Protect AI, which has created a platform that helps businesses to secure AI models, carry out AI red teaming, and guarantee AI runtime security, is being acquired by Palo Alto Networks. According to reports, Palo Alto Networks spent $500 million to $700 million for Protect.
Torq acquires Revrod
Torq, a security operations business, revealed that it has acquired Israeli stealth startup Revrod for more than $20 million. Revrod's multi-agent RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) technology has been incorporated into Torq's HyperSOC platform.
Upwind acquires Nyx Security
Nyx Security, a vendor focused on real-time application-layer threat detection, has been purchased by Upwind. Upwind claims that this acquisition, which is its first, will allow it to provide end-to-end cloud security for both the infrastructure and the apps that operate on it.

MOXFIVE acquires modePUSH
MOXFIVE, a cybersecurity company that focuses on business resilience and incident response, purchased modePUSH, a digital forensics and incident response (DFIR) company. ModePUSH's DFIR technology will be incorporated into MOXFIVE's product line. Co-founders of modePUSH will join the executive team of MOXFIVE.
Feedzai acquires Demyst
Fenix24, a cyber disaster restoration and recovery company, announced that it will acquire appNovi, a company that specializes in enterprise attack surface mapping solutions. The acquisition strengthens Fenix24's resilience capabilities, such as business continuity, assured recoverability, and rapid recovery, and it supplements the company's recent acquisition of vArmour.
Hornetsecurity Group to acquire Altospam
Altospam, a French email security startup, is being acquired by Hornetsecurity, a German provider of security, compliance, backup, and security awareness solutions. In addition to allowing Hornetsecurity to further grow its French footprint and experience, this acquisition supports the company's aim of offering cybersecurity solutions developed in Europe to businesses across the globe.

Adaptive Security Raises $43M Series A
In a $43 million funding round headed by Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) and the OpenAI business Fund, Adaptive Security, the industry leader in AI-powered social engineering prevention solutions, announced its first investment in a cybersecurity business. Along with officials from Google, Workday, Shopify, Plaid, Paxos, and other companies, supplementary investors include Abstract Ventures, Eniac Ventures, CrossBeam Ventures, and K5. Adaptive will be able to build solutions to protect against social engineering assaults driven by AI more quickly thanks to the funding.
Cyberhaven Raises $100 Million Series D at $1 Billion Valuation
Cyberhaven, a pioneer in AI-powered data security, has secured $100 million in Series D funding, led by StepStone Group (Nasdaq: STEP), along with new investors Schroders and Industry Ventures. This investment will fuel the company's rapid growth and strengthen its leadership in AI-driven data protection. Leveraging advanced data tracing and risk detection, supported by its unique data lineage and cutting-edge AI technologies, Cyberhaven empowers organizations to proactively identify and mitigate risks to their most critical data. With this new round of funding, Cyberhaven’s total capital raised reaches $250 million, propelling its valuation to $1 billion, an impressive sevenfold increase in just one year.

Chainguard Raises $356 Million in Series D
Chainguard, the trusted platform for secure software development and deployment, has raised $356 million in Series D funding, increasing its total funding to $612 million. This investment values the company at $3.5 billion. The round was co-led by new investor Kleiner Perkins and existing investor IVP, with participation from new investors Salesforce Ventures and Datadog Ventures, along with all other current investors.

Push Security Secures $30 Million Series B Funding
A $30 million Series B fundraising round has been secured by Push Security, a pioneer in detecting and thwarting contemporary identity assaults in browsers. Under the direction of Redpoint Ventures and supported by Datadog Ventures and B3 Capital, the investment will propel Push's explosive growth, fostering innovation and quickening its global expansion.

Sentra Raises $50M in Series B Funding
A $50 million Series B fundraising round was raised by Sentra, a cloud-native data security firm situated in New York City. With participation from previous investors Bessemer Venture Partners, Zeev Ventures, Standard Investments, and Munich Re Ventures, Key1 Capital led the round. The company plans to use the money to strengthen its position as a DSP player, add more data security professionals to its staff, and keep growing its platform. The cloud-native data security firm Sentra, led by CEO Yoav Regev, provides a layer of defense to let businesses scale data security across multi-cloud and AI-driven settings,
