Cyera acquires Otterize

Otterize, a startup that specializes in protecting cloud-native non-human identities and data flows, was purchased by Cyera, a data security company that just funded $540 million, for tens of millions of dollars.  Cyera can now expand its data security platform thanks to the transaction.​

Kiteworks acquires Zivver

Kiteworks, a provider of data governance, compliance, and protection solutions, has purchased Zivver, an email security company based in the Netherlands.  Kiteworks will extend its capabilities by incorporating Zivver's secure email features into its Private Data Network.  Zivver will remain available for purchase and independent support.

Netgear acquires Exium

Secure access service edge (SASE) solutions provider Exium has agreed to be acquired by networking behemoth Netgear.  The SASE platform from Exium will be incorporated into Netgear's portfolio.  According to Netgear, the company wants to help SMBs by integrating networking and security.

Bitdefender to acquire Mesh Security

Bitdefender has revealed plans to acquire Mesh Security, an Irish company that offers email security solutions.  Bitdefender's XDR platform and MDR services will incorporate Mesh's email security features and technology.

Snyk acquires Invariant Labs

Swiss business Invariant Labs was purchased by software security startup Snyk in an effort to spur agentic AI development. The capabilities of Snyk will be expanded and its new research unit will be improved by the technology and experience of Invariant Labs.

Zero Networks raises Series C at $55,000,000

 

 

 

 

 

 

A Tel Aviv-based cybersecurity startup called Zero Networks has acquired $55 million in Series C funding to bring back microsegmentation, one of the most potent but long-forgotten concepts in network defense. 
To make microsegmentation easier at scale, Zero Networks has raised $55 million in Series C funding.  As lateral movement threats increase, an Israeli cybersecurity company promises a scalable zero trust architecture.

Impart Security Raises Series A at $12 Million 

 

 

 

 

 

The first Application Detection and Response Engineering Platform in the market, which security teams rely on to create self-sufficient processes for production settings, was made generally available by Impart Security.  A $12 million Series A fundraising round headed by Madrona Ventures, with participation from CRV and 8-Bit Capital, coincides with the debut.  Karan Mehandru, the managing director of Madrona, joined the board as a result of the funding.

Cerby raises Series to $40,000,000

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

With $40 million raised in a series B fundraising round, identity security automation firm Cerby intends to invest on growing its network and enhancing its capabilities.  According to the business, their platform automates the whole identity lifecycle for enterprise password management, privileged access management (PAM), identity governance and administration (IGA), and identity and access management (IAM) across disparate apps.

Noma Raises $32,000,000 in Series A Funding

 

 

 

 

 A $25 million Series A fundraising round was raised by Trustifi, a cybersecurity software platform provider based in New York City that specializes in email security, data loss prevention, and security awareness training.  The money will be used to boost marketing activities, double down on go-to-market initiatives, and expedite the company's product pipeline.
