Akamai acquires Fermyon

Serverless cloud service Fermyon was purchased by cloud and security firm Akamai. Akamai's infrastructure is being integrated with Fermyon's WebAssembly (Wasm) function-as-a-service to help businesses create edge-native apps that are more cost-effective and perform better. Additionally, Akamai intends to strengthen the connection between its performance and security solutions and the edge functions platform.

Checkmarx acquires Tromzo

Checkmarx, an application security company, has purchased Tromzo, a business that specializes in AI-native autonomous security agents. Checkmarx Assist AI agents will be expanded and the Checkmarx One platform will be improved by Tromzo's engineering and technology team. Checkmarx's engineering and product division will welcome the founders and staff of Tromzo.

ServiceNow to acquire Armis and Veza

In a $7.75 billion cash deal, ServiceNow is purchasing Armis, a business that specializes in IT, OT, and IoT asset discovery solutions. Additionally, ServiceNow is reportedly paying $1 billion to acquire the identity security company Veza. Expanding the capabilities of its risk and security portfolios is the aim.

Arteris to acquire Cycuity

The previously announced acquisition of Cycuity, Inc., a top supplier and subject matter expert of semiconductor cybersecurity assurance technology, has been completed, according to Arteris, Inc., a leading technology provider for speeding semiconductor production in the AI era.

Infinum acquires AMR CyberSecurity

AMR CyberSecurity is a UK-based business with extensive experience in security consulting and penetration testing. Their team has worked with companies such as Zoom, Anglian Water, and English Heritage, frequently in industries where downtime is not the only metric used to calculate the cost of failure. The director, Martin Walsham, is a member of the executive board of UK CREST, a worldwide authority on cybersecurity, and they possess top-tier security accreditations.

Torq Raised $140M Series D

 

 

 

 

 

 

Torq, a cybersecurity firm that uses autonomous AI agents to manage security operations centers, has raised $140 million in a Series D fundraising round, valuing the business at $1.2 billion. As of right present, Torq has $332 million in investment.

 

Claroty Secures $150 Million in Series F

 

  

 

The Israeli cyber-physical systems (CPS) protection startup Claroty has announced that it has raised US$150 million in Series F funding, led by Golub Growth, a Golub Capital affiliate, with an additional US$50 million confirmed from current investors. As the business continues to pursue an ambitious goal of becoming the most complete CPS protection platform in the industry, this new investment will support worldwide expansion through both organic and inorganic growth.

Adaptive Security Raises $81 Million in Series B Funding

 

 

 

 

 

 

Adaptive Security has announced that it has raised $81 million in a Series B funding round, marking the company's third investment round since its January launch.  The startup has already raised $146.5 million. Bain Capital Ventures spearheaded the investment round, with backing from NVentures, OpenAI Startup Fund, Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), Abstract Ventures, Capital One Ventures, and Citi Ventures.

Saviynt secures $700 million in funding for identity ...

 

 

 

 

 A $700 million Series B Growth Equity Financing with a valuation of over $3 billion was announced today by Saviynt, a prominent identity security startup. Leading international investment firm KKR led the round with contributions from TenEleven and Sixth Street Growth in addition to fresh capital from Carrick Capital Partners, an existing Series A investor. The multi-firm investment highlights a common belief that identity management is the fundamental infrastructure for large-scale AI deployment.
